Album Notes
Ever since fourth grade when I first heard Doris Day sing “It’s Magic”, I have been enchanted by songs from The Great American Songbook. In college, performing became my I sang with several big bands and afterward in restaurants, saloons and outdoor bandshells.

Today I sing for my wonderful audiences whom I cannot thank enough for their enthusiasm, loyalty and support.

For this CD, I have chosen songs that speak to me. At this stage of my life, my interpretations come from the heart because I have experienced the feelings they express...and not only survived, but thrived! It has been a special thrill for me to work with the brilliant songwriter Douglas J. Cohen and to share three of his songs with you on this CD.

I have always thought that if you believe in your dreams…work hard...and surround yourself with the right people, your dreams will come true. And how fortunate I have been to be surrounded with the right people on this CD!

My love and thanks to these dear friends who have always been there for me and have helped me grow as a communicator, actress and singer: my voice teacher, Mark Planner; vocal coach, arranger and pianist, Doug Cohen; drummer, Sherrie Maricle; bassist, Jennifer Leitham and engineer with an amazing ear, Jim Czak.
