Album Notes
An album of original music which in itself is an interpretation of a life up to the point of its first Saturn Return. The Saturn Return is an astrological phenomenon whereby it is believed that each person comes of age at around the same time as the planet Saturn returns to the same spot where it was when the person was born, taking roughly 30 years to complete this cycle once around the sun. When Saturn ‘returns’ for a person this time is said to be a time of immense inner turbulence but also a time when much personal growth can take place if you can be open to it. An old skin is shed and the person can be reborn as a more mature soul with an honest outlook on life based on the harsh lessons learned during the first Saturn Return. These songs are a reflection of that for me. They are an embodiment of the sense that I've tried to make of the madness. It's really nice when you can tease through the knotted balls of yarn that clog up your internal cogs, until they gradually unravel and reweave themselves to become beautiful blankets which then keep you warm

Cosmic Spirituality Meets Gentle Jazz and Blues
This album is a marvel, a genuine phenomenon. Lynn is an incredible musician with a voice that exudes gentle tenderness, as well as considerable spiritual power. Her lyrics reflect a mature spirituality and a mature understanding of vital spiritual themes. The rest of the musicians are first class as well, and Lynn's diction is flawless. This is good because the words, like Lynn's voice, flow like living stream. They are themselves well worth the listener's attention. I've learned a lot from them, and they have already empowered my ministry as an Episcopal priest. You are one heck of a great Catholic, Lynn. You and your music are a true sacrament, a blessing from God upon God's children and God's world! Exquisite? Yes, and so much more.

Truly a recommender
Just like the first album from Lynn Hilary. this album "Saturn Return" is an album that truly takes you on a warm and beautiful journey. The vocals are just so beautiful and the music makes one truly feel quite relaxed. It is truthfully an album that is to be recommended.
