Album Notes
Boston-area singer Lynn Jolicoeur, recognized for her colorful, warm tones and styling over a wide vocal range, is backed by a group of veteran musicians with a natural chemistry and passion for innovation. Together as a band since 2008, Lynn Jolicoeur and The Pulse have performed at top jazz clubs in the Boston area, fine restaurants, private functions and arts festivals, to rave audience response. World Behind Your Eyes is their first CD release.

Lynn’s love of music since an early age led her to perform in choruses, musical theater, concert bands, and a big-band style jazz band. She received classical voice training and piano training for several years. After pursuing a higher education and career in television news, she decided to go after her long-held dream of singing with her own band.

The Pulse features intuitive pianist Steven Travis, who has been performing in professional bands since the age of eleven and teaches private lessons on several musical instruments; versatile bassist Warren Olsen, who previously toured Germany for several years performing original music and has played in many Massachusetts bands; colorful guitarist Mike Natsis, who began studying guitar as a teen and has performed in several professional groups including Clemente Guitar Ensemble; and innovative percussionist Jean-marie Corrois, who spent twenty years teaching and performing on drums in his native France before relocating to the U.S., and also plays in his own jazz instrumental quartet.
