Album Notes
This is a very rare vinyl record pressing called "One-Step" and there are only 2,000 made for each of The Moonlight Sessions Volumes One and Two. Buyers are proclaiming this is the best sounding LP they have ever owned! A One-Step, Lyn Stanley SuperSonic™ vinyl is made from her original master analog tape to lacquer that becomes the Father or Master stamper for the vinyl pressing you are buying. Most vinyl records are made with a 3-step process, so this vinyl is as close to the master tape recording a vinyl record can get. It is a slow process to create One-Step vinyl records to preserve the master stamper as much as possible as it will create a limited number of records. It is quiet and offers the listener a "real" experience as if they are in the jazz club listening in a front row seat, instead of looking in from the outside window of the club.

The Moonlight Sessions--Volume One has been described by the #1 jazz radio station in the USA as "Brilliant" and a final departure into this century with unique new arrangements to add a fresh approach to the American songbook plus a few country blues and smooth jazz songs popularized by other artists. This is a sizzling album utilizing the sultry vocals of Lyn Stanley front and center by a team of Grammy winning engineers--with tracks recorded by Al Schmitt and Steve Genewick, mixed by Michael Bishop and mastered by guru, Bernie Grundman. Album is produced by Lyn Stanley with associate producers, Mike Garson and John Chiodini who are also featured on this album.

The list of stellar musicians on this album include: Mike Garson, Christian Jacob and Tamir Hendelman (piano); Chuck Berghofer (bass); Joe LaBarbera, Bernie Dresel, Ray Brinker (drums); John Chiodini (guitar); Sidemen include: Hendrik Meurkens (harmonica); Chuck Findley (trumpet); Bob McChesney (trombone); Rickey Woodard (tenor sax); Luis Conte (percussion); All vocals by Lyn Stanley.

Be prepared to relax and unwind to love break ups and make up stories combined with quotes from classical compositions and standards from the American songbook and country blues staples. They will weave a spellbinding album you will want to listen to often. The engineering is top drawer on this rare and unique vinyl record to add to your vinyl collection. This project should become a collectible series according to audiophile critics.
