Album Notes
In Macafee's words...
@Large I wrote this shortly after I was fortunately able to exit a chapter of my Life that was holding me back but I thought I was making moves! J-E-L-L-O was written to identify the haters, the anti-progressors, the snakes in the thought.
The Onlyest formed from an old man's Ebonics that spoke to me in a time of need when I couldn't trust a soul which was from the lifestyle I choose.
Sweet Tenda this was the last track I wrote everyone told me I needed a Club track so I flipped this with a taste Bay game...
Its Macafee baby!!
JusaPiece was the plan of staking claim, a Piece of the pie the market place in the Bay had became more cut throat than ever.
Which brought me to The Fundamentals as I built on the wrong terms I had to knock it down and bring it back to square one self reliance "the new ending to the beginning "
Blast Off is the first track I wrote but the last I recorded I heard that Dubstep style beat and Bam "splash like puddle!"
Choo Choo The train of success that motivated me. Listen to all "spots" I mention from the "old" Hollywood before Hollywood was Hollywood it was Fremont, California "like Charlie Chaplin!"
Then we got Son of the Street which really a spiritual awakening misunderstood I live in the light trying to reach Step5.
Everyone knows what Side is just from the title Street Lights with Clean rides C'moan!
High Maintenance was a track to inspire a sense of balance anything worth having must be worth paying for$$
ButterFace Beautiful body with face like a Balloon knot, “everything but her face!"
Where do we go? A recollection of a child to the point of man with the desire to make something of himself then gave in to criminal acts which ends without music, trapped! True story inspired by my cousin.
A Nickel & A Dime highly representative of the "510" I feel in every corner of the World a "Bay Boy" must be letting it be known!
Trapped on my Memories like Tracy Morgan said it best "you didn't want that bad if you wasn't willing to die for it" Ha-ha For all the love ones that lost someone over the years "We Miss You"
The Track Life for those that are living that and haven't found your niche keep grinding it'll find you... Do something and Fail than nothing and Succeed!
