Deck the Infinite One!

A Wreckening Collage
Though hip hop music nowadays seems to get phony as wrestling, cats like Mac Blaze keep it open and alive. The cover may not make the cd look expensive, but still leaves that question on what it really is about. From Wilmington, DE, Mac Blaze drops an Ill Lyrical mixtape thats gets beneath ya grimy roots, to your soul. My favourite track off of here has to be Livelihood, where Mac spits with one of the best verses I ever heard, on such a great beat also. Other favourable mentions would be ; 99% Terrible as Hell, The Gullotine, Another F'n Massacre, Countdown, and most of the freestyles on here. I implore ya'll to support this cat, support underground Delaware artists. Peace!!!

A Good Artist with a Good Mix CD
Honestly, I didn't know what I was gonna listen to when I purchased this. I live in Dover, DE, but was born and raised in Wilmington. I grew up listening to alot of Rock, Reggae, and alot of Hip Hop. I hardly ever hear anybody in Delaware blow up on the rap scene. Well...nowadays I do see a couple of guys try to sell there own cd's here and there, and yes, I would buy them. But they just sound like everything else you would hear on the radio, or try to be some Jadakiss rip-off imatation. If this was what the Delaware Rap scene was to offer, I wasn't gonna be interested. Soon, I browse Market Street (where some guy would sell indie music) to get another taste of some new sound, until I ran into this artist. I saw the CD cover and was kinda interested. Got a glance at the cover a little bigger (showing a cartoon character supposely to be Mac Blaze, sticking a shotgun at a Rap Artist, or a Radio Host) soon, I became fully interested. I brought the Mix CD, not knowing what was gonna be heard, then after listening to it at my job from beginning to end, I was satisfied with what I heard. This is totally different from what you would hear from other indie artists. I loved the highly lyrical group cut of 'The Guillotine', and the 'F*ckin Massacre' series, I liked the lyrics on 'Livelihood' which put me thinking to myself, and most favorite track I loved here was 'Countdown'; a track that seems like a simple concept, but it just has never been done. This guy actually counted down from 100, at the same time, was telling certain current events in rhymeform, and made it sound good. Most Brilliant track ever . The intro and outro is funny as hell, the downfall to this CD would be the freestyles as they just sounded a little too mediocre, and the quality is good on a few tracks, but on the other few they sounded a little trebled-up (which would kinda hurt your ears if you were wearing a headset). But all in all, This guy should be the upcoming artist that needs to represent Delaware! And folks, don't let the CD cover fool you! Though as explicit as it looks, Mac Blaze is a artists that uses alot of personification. When he says [Mac Blaze Killed the Radio Star], he's just saying that his music is better than the radio, so he's killing it. Or any other way its symbolic to understand. I wanted to find this artist on the web, and found this cdbaby link during my search. If you live in Delaware and are sick of the hip hop music thats being played nowadays or if you like real hip hop period, get this album! We all need to support the real hip hop in Delaware! Thank you
