Album Notes
Macho Grande is so damn good, they refer to themselves in the 3rd Person. In 2002, Macho Grande appeared out of thin air at a New York advertising agency. The fiery 6-piece began playing in and around New York City where they quickly garned the title of "America's Third-Best Ad Band" and almost opened up for The Fixx. Yes, The Fixx. One thing eventually led to another and they recorded their debut album, 2004's "Tastes Like Burning." How does Macho Grande work? Easy. Tim Roan brings the baritone Kapow. Lindsey Kaufman hits you with something that can only be described as the sound of angels making little angels. Noah Davis plays one guitar like it's the Showcase Showdown. Dan Becker plays the other one like it's the Sale of the Century. Meanwhile in the back, Greg Wikoff and Gerald Cuesta lock in to form one hulking, magnificent Voltron of rhythm. The result is an amalgam of rock and punk and country and blue-eyed soul. It is fucking dope. Macho Grande salutes you. Buy the album @ http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/machogrande

Pink Missile

Hits the sweet spot
A friend in New York told me about these guys, so I bought the CD on a whim. Seriously, one of my favorites right now. Hasn't left my CD changer in 2 months. Something about the raw yet simple catchy melodies and the nice interchanging between the 2 lead singers just makes for a pleasurable experience. I dunno, it's fun I guess. Which is rare these days.

Big Daddy 37

Finally some real music with some Hart & Soul
Heavy and up beat with lyrics that have some Hart & soul, there's not a clunker on this kickass album! Do your self a favor and add this to your collection. A must have!
