ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
WE bring vintage New Orleans rhythm and blues to an art level. Not that there was any thing wrong with the originals,
but people who normally love jazz take note of us because of the extremely high level of musicianship involved with the
players in the Mighty Fines. But we lose NONE of the original's zest and flavor. We have two major saxophonists - Nancy
Wright (also an excellent vocalist) and Ken Snakebite Jacobs on baritone. They combine forces in an incredible way - you
have to hear it to believe it. The rhythm section, pianist/vocalist/guitarist Macy Blackman, bassist Bing Nathan and drummer
Larry Vann have all been playing this music since it was Top 40. It's not "oldies" to us.
