ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Like most people, I modify recordings of everyday life with synthesizers and samplers (see the list below). The resulting music sounds like someone lying awake at night, trying to find a good station on the radio. Musical influences are many, but include Coil, Nurse with Wound and The Hafler Trio. Influences from life include (but are not limited to) phlebotomy, autopsy, clinical research, frame drums and gear acquisition.

Ampersand Et Cetera 2003_3
"Deceptively simple, this is a dark disturbing mysterious and absorbing work..."

Incursion Music Review 046
"Excellent work, revealing an impressive sensibility toward creating intriguing ambient textures and strong moods.."

Sunoloco
"It feels like sitting in the back of a city bus that halts at a stop, when the engine causes the bus to vibrate in a fashion that will steal your voice away, in a epilepsy inducing rumble that completely swallows you up, like the ocean closing above your head!."

Vital Weekly 310
"Maenad plays mood music of a more desperate nature."
