Review from THE MELODIC NET - www.melodic.net
Here is a really cool album presented by Craig Maher, and american guy heavily influenced by the sound from the 70's. Imagine a cool mix of Todd Rundgrens Utopia, the Bowie rock period, Zeppelin and all spiced with a more modern edge a'la Stone Temple Pilots and Lenny Kravitz... Hmmm.... Yes I know I'm good with these comparisons... :-) Anyway - Craigs music is mighty fine and the CD is filled with good songs and all spiced with a very professional production. There are plenty of good songs on the album but if I should mention any special ones - I'll pick out the softer "Ten Thousand Dreams", the rockier titletrack, the beautiful "Summer" where Craig shows what a great singer he is and the really cool rocker "Living In The Utopia". Well - the Todd Rundgren penned "Open My Eyes" is also worth mentioning. Just listen to the fabulous keyboard/organsolo. This is a CD you gotta check out cause it's really damn cool.
