ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
As a vocalist, Michelle Mailhot is in a league of her own. Whether
singing with a group or alone, Michelle's vocals are recognizable and
can bring a smile to anyone's face.

Happy Madness is Michelle's debut solo release. Her love and skills
as a jazz vocalist are front and center in this beautifully balanced
mix of jazz standards and jazz-ified pop tunes (Landslide, Jump Up,
Love 2 the 9's). Currently, when she's not performing world-wide as
a part of the award-winning theatrical a cappella group, Toxic Audio,
she's coaching vocal students, adjudicating festivals or workshops,
or making an appearance in a live jazz setting somewhere. Check her
website (www.michellemailhot.com) for dates.

Great jazz effort!
This CD is a great example of Michelle's jazz chops. I have seen her perform in different settings (primarily with Toxic Audio) and truly enjoy hearing her in an instrumental setting. Fantastic job.
