Album Notes
"See It From The Other Side", Duet Ft. Mandy Z & Brandon Dean, is the long awaited Brand New 2015 Release from Mandy Z & Rural Route One. Keeping with her style of writing that is becoming recognized, it is no surprise to those that know Mandy, that this is a song that tells it like it is; a song that tells a story that so many can relate to about heartbreak, getting over it, & moving on.
“[Don’t let this “Local” Lady of Country Music fool ya’…she’s a Firecracker on Stage, full of energy and yet can sing a Country Ballad so sultry that it leaves the boys breathless]" -C2E Review

With so many Male dominated & Male Perspective Songs about Drinkin', Girls, & Pick Up Trucks, like Mandy and Co-Writer, Jim Billmeier (Drinkin Song, 2012 that placed well in the Texaco Country Showdown), Mandy Zahn & Brandon Dean (See It From The Other Side, 2015), have written a song that's a bit different that tells an honest & real story.

Singer/Songwriter/Entertainer - MANDY
Growing up in a small town of 1300 people at the time, coming from a very large family, all whom are musically oriented, it was no surprise, that Mandy knew by the age of 5 that she was going to follow in the footsteps of her Mother, Father, Brother, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Her first band began when she was 10 Years Old and grew into a 9 piece Country Band by the time she was 13. She continued performing on the fair and festival circuit with that band until she was 17, when she left to pursue her songwriting and begin her own career.

Singing, Writing Songs, & Entertaining is what she's always done and will continue to do.
In 2008, Mandy formed, Rural Route One - named after the road she grew up on in that small rural town 60 Miles South of Chicago, Illinois. The background photo on the promo is one Mandy took herself on a visit home shortly after forming the band. Going into their Seventh year with numerous awards, accomplishments, 2 EP's under their belt, and many other accomplishments, a successful run with their 2014 Evolution Tour, Mandy Z & Rural Route One are proud to bring you some of their new Original Music, "See It From The Other Side".
