Album Notes
On their second full-length album Point Panic, Mango Season deftly morphs from sunshiny acoustic island jazz to a sound that is decidedly soulful, introspective, and full of groove. Point Panic is their most creative and energetic material yet — a fantastic collaboration of musical styles made possible as the band grew from husband and wife duo, Annie & Curtis Kamiya, to a full funkified septet packed with a mean rhythm section and drenched in horns.
