Album Notes
Adam von Buhler saw Alice Ishbel Watson playing cover songs of his former band Splashdown on YouTube. He liked what he heard, so he called over to Scotland from Boston to suggest they work together. Not really believing it was him, she used a variety of colorful Scottish curses to banish the "prankster". Round and round they went, until Adam filmed himself addressing her by name, finally proving that he really was a member of one of her favorite musical groups.

"Ancient History" was recorded over a two-year span during which Adam also released an album by his current band, Anarchy Club (on which Alice made several cameo appearances). Map & Key took shape as the duo worked on opposite sides of the Atlantic, sending music back and forth over the Internet. They did meet in person midway through the project, writing and recording in Roslin Castle near Edinburgh during the summer of 2009.

The duo is already at work on their next recordings...

Nice Collection of Songs
I popped the cd into my car stereo and it hasn't been out since, that's been two weeks already. I usually listen to harder music but, I am a sucker for beautiful female vocals. This cd is just a nice collection of songs. found myself singing along after the second playing of the disc.

Totally love it, this music ain't just for young ones, it covers a whole spectrum of ages.
