Seu estilo interpretativo resulta de uma fusão de influências de cantoras como Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin, Dinah Washington, Dakota Staton, Big Mama Thornton, Etta James e Amy Winehouse.

With a classical violin background, Marcela Isabelle migrated towards Jazz as a singer and songwriter. Her original songs and lyrics are inspired by composers of the great american songbook style, such as Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Harold Arlen and Ira Gershwin.
