Album Notes
This music tells stories. It's not your usual broken heart stuff. Second Wind is a rocking up tempo tune that tells about getting a second chance at life after receiving a double lung transplant. Calling Me Home tells of the hesitation of returning to the past. It's Up To You speaks of how we are responsible for our own lives regardless of what cards we were dealt. I Came Home deals with my travels. Don't Know Much is a jazz orientated tune about making love simple. Meet Me At Ramon's is about one of my favourite restaurants in Mexico and making life simple. Pirates In Paradise is about the great friends i met in Mexico. I Ain't Hanging Around tells about love lost and moving on. Middle Of The Night In Barra celebrates dancing in the middle of the street in the middle of the night in Barra de Navidad, Mexico. Saviour is about how much can be expected from another person in a relationship.

The musicianship on this cd is superb and the "off the floor" recording gives it a very warm feel. The sessions were done in a studio in the country. We had the control room widow open and could hear crows frequently. I decided they should be part of the album. Enjoy!
