ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Save My Soul is my second album following up to Beggars and Thieves in 2013. Featuring contributions from Texas musicians and personal friends this album has been 3 years in the making following a personal relationship upheaval. Good for writing angst-ridden blues songs though!

The influences on my personal musical journey are noticeable in almost every track, with nods and full blown tributes to people like Mark Knopfler, Gary Moore, Status Quo (or Chas 'n' Dave if you believe my partner Ellie!), Santana, Dave Gilmour - many others throughout.

"Hard and gritty blues from Marcus Lazarus - blew us away .... " - Blues Matters Magazine
