ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"... it will be awesome to see what he does next!" - Blues Blast Magazine reviewing Save My Soul, 2017

Well, here we are - this is what happened next! This Life was recorded in Italy in the spring of 2018, using some of the finest musicians both UK and Italian based. 11 original songs, and a cover from the TV show 'Sons of Anarchy', which found itself promoted to #1 spot on the album as well as the album title.

A blend of rock and blues primarily, but there's also some interesting genres covered as with What You Got (Is What I Need) - a tip of the hat to Soul and Motown. Then there's Turn Up The Heat, a funkadelic groove. And a bit of fun with Fab Gear Groove with a chorus everyone should grasp straight away!

Literally a smorgasbord of genres which is the way I am as a listener, player and songwriter - I can't really be pigeon-holed into any style.

I like that.

Enjoy the album.
