ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is Marilyn’s seventh solo album release and it finds her at peak performance and perfect pitch. Using her smooth and sultry voice, Marilyn flawlessly combines the genres of smooth jazz, pop, R&B, and Brazilian jazz in a tasteful and tantalizing offering certain to please jazz fans, adult contemporary listeners and beyond. With a little help from her friends Jimmy Haslip and Russell Ferrante from the Yellowjackets, jazz drummer extraordinaire Terri Lyne Carrington and songwriters JoeVannelli and Brenda Russell, Marilyn has created another stellar album which also includes many of her own compositions, including the call for tolerance anthem “No Room For Hate”.
