Album Notes

Sing-a-long with COTTON DANDEE - a singing 'ukulele-playing' cottontail who lives in a hay field with his three dogs and who loves to sing his songs and get everyone to join in on the FUN! Music for the "KID" in all of us!- All Ages!
This music comes in the form of a "COTTON DANDEE FUN PACK." A "FUN PACK" includes a 10 SONG CD (original tunes) with a PICTURE BOOKLET (original Art & Lyrics)- and some cool COTTON DANDEE STICKERS too! --All in a convenient folding travel packet that fits easily into the car seat pocket or Mom’s purse.
This album "Cotton Dandee- Going for a Drive" is full of Nature Imagery: animals and birds- trees and creeks- and all the wildlife - engaging children's imaginations and sense of discovery.
The music has a lot of fun beats to dance to & gets babies (and Grannies) "moving to the beat" right from the beginning.
The tone of the music is light and fun and the sound is very gentle-- intentionally recorded and mixed to be very “easy listening” and calming to the nervous system-- so mothers can listen to it over and over (and not go crazy!) -and so babies can sing and clap along- and then also fall asleep to it (in the car, at home... etc..) And this is not just “Baby” music- this is music for the whole family to share!
I believe in mothers and grandmothers taking the time to sing with their babies and young children- to help imprint "music-as-first-language" into the young rapidly forming brain. This intention and practice is a "gift-of-a-lifetime" for a child- and a fun and healthy activity for all!
Here's to creating a few moments of joy and fun- together with the kids- everyday!

COTTONISM: "A little play- everyday- goes a long- long- long -long- long- long way!"
