A very special thank you to every gifted and talented individual (too numerous to thank individually), who contributed in some way small or large to making this project a reality. An extra round of applause to John Stoddart who never ceases to amaze me, truly the Bezalel of Music!! (Exo 31:1-3). My musical sister Sheléa! Thank you so much for contributing the gift of your amazing voice, truly the icing on this album cake! Adam Ellis for your ears and sound judgement in the studio! Also deepest appreciations to my family, friends, students, support network (you know who you are!) and musical supporters worldwide. La, thanks for your love, patience, and continued support on this journey we take together each year around the sun, my heart belongs to you!

Mark’s last note! I thank Jesus Christ for allowing me the honour to express myself creatively and passionately through this medium we call music. It’s my prayer that this album will be your go-to-place in this sin sick troubled world. A musical retreat where you can be revived, inspired, and reminded of God’s great goodness, love, and mercy. I thank Him for the vast array of creativity, diversity, and emotions that He has blessed us with. Not to mention the gifts of freedom, intelligence and the power of choice. Isn’t it so wonderful that He decided to bestow these blessings upon us after the infinite depths of His own image! It is up to each of us to either use these gifts for Him, and to bless others, or, for the enemy and destructive purposes. We each must give an account one day. As you listen know that you are hearing the reflection of the extreme gratitude for each of these for-mentioned amazing attributes that God has so generously provided. It is therefore with no apologies that FORHYM represents the selfless outpouring of my total expression on the saxophone through the vehicle of some of my favourite hymns, using a variety of today’s contemporary music styles. The diversity experienced throughout this album also reflects an array of cultural and life experiences that have shaped this mixed heritage child of God you refer to as Mark Bunney! I pray FORHYM inspires you each time you listen for all He has done, and continues to do until the perfect day arrives! With love, Mark Bunney 
