Album Notes
Mark Elder has been a singer-songwriter for the past fifty years. This album "Tuesday in the Rain" is a collection of some of his very best writing both current and from the recent past. The spectrum of songwriting goes from the title cut which is a beautifully touching ballad dealing with acceptance of a lover struggling with a troubled past to the tongue in cheek "Down in Coconut Land" about a guy working a deadend job parking cars in Detriot in the winter time dreaming of nothing more than moving to the tropics. The music styles cross over from Country to Acoustic to Classic Rock to Reggae. Mark recorded this album in his own studio using local musicians from the Toledo, Ohio area which truely helped him to produce a more personal feel on the entire project. I believe you'll truely enjoy his latest album "Tuesday in the Rain".
