Tasteful Musical Mastery
One of the most pleasing sounds on the trombone world-wide. Great choice in the variety of works on CD. The last note will have you rewinding for weeks!

Thomas Jöstlein

Wow! Terrific stuff, and quite interesting choices of pieces. I think I may have to steal the Shostakovich for a future horn recital. Looking forward to working with you in the future, Jim!

Incredible finesse trombone playing. Finally a technical but lyrical classical t
James Markey has produced an album highly worthy of praise. His sound and finesse of the instrument brings out the true lyrical beauty of the trombone. This is not another one of those run of the mill stuffed shirt classical trombone recordings. It is a project in which every trombonist be it jazz, classical, avante garde, klezmer-you name it-should purchase the recording and wrap their ears around it and get inspired!

Heavenly Trombone! I can not wait for nor imagine how amazing the BASS TROMBONE CD will sound!!! Nudge, nudge, say no more! (Bass Bone, US Army Band Japan)
