Album Notes
Oh boy, did it take me while to get this done ... almost thirty years! Actually, I started playing the mandolin almost 30 years ago. Scary! The CD only took took a few months and it all began during the Christmas holidays of 2007.
It was then when I got to invite some of my very best friends to my home where we spent four days recording, socializing, cooking, laughing, and and then ... some more recording. It was not just a musical experience and I hope
that this vibe comes through when you actually listen to the CD! Here are the names of all the fine people who participated: Nathan Clark
George (Guitar, Vocals), Ross Sermons (Bass), Uli Jenne (Drums & Percussion), Mila Maring (Vocals, Accordion), Kelley Sims (Guitar, Vocals), Doug Knecht (Banjo), Ned Luberecki (Banjo), Rob Ickes (Dobro), and Robert Bowlin (Fiddle). We recorded five of my tunes, a couple of Nathan’s pieces, and several covers. The CD cover & layout was done by the wonderful Mary McDermott.
