ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Marley Young is from Kansas City Mo. He is the future of the music industry
The Midwest based artist began to fulfill his passion for hip hop music at the young age of 11. Marley then known as (Slicc. P) quickly grew a voice on the rap scene during his adolescent years of junior high and high school.
Growing up in south of Kansas City Marley was eager to hit the basketball
courts and near functions to show off his skills. During his junior year of high school Marley organized a three member group by the name Street Co.(Street Coalition). The group members consist of Jayo Smitts (hometown Chicago, IL), Diego Hard(Kansas City, Mo.). From there the group auditioned to sign with a
local label 3rd Wall Entertainment. Where he met his now manager
\"Pentagon Ron\" who took Marley under his wing, and saw more than a battle
rapper, but a star in the making. At the age of 15 Marley and the group
began to record every evening after school.

Marley eventually seized the opportunity to pursue a solo career, but
while still being dedicated to Street Co. RawBeatzz and Marley collaborated
who he acknowledges as a mentor, and guide throughout his career.
It is only inevitable with the talent of RawBeatzz and his signature
tracks to open up doors and expose Marley to capture the attention of
Sean P. of the Youngbloodz - \"I don\'t know how the story goes but we
made that connection\". His first mixtape \"The Layout Before the Paper Route\"
hosted by DJ Macc which features his singles \"Paper Route\", \"DopeMan Beat\"
which embodies the lifestyle of a hustlers struggles just to
make that paper.and \"She Loves Me\", a track just for the ladies.
Marley is not only a rapper, he is also a ghostwriter
and has written R&B songs for upcoming singer \"Dre Promise\" and \"J. Holly\"
of Kansas City. Marley has appeared on the stages and various venues
throughout Missouri such as Kansas City\'s Summer Jam \"May Day\", with
headliners just to mention a few; Juvenile, The Youngbloodz, Lil Flip
and Shawna, as well as various promotional tours with The Youngbloodz .
Marley\'s label 3rd Wall Entertainment is on the grind shopping the young
Marley to major labels. With his debut album \"Missouri Marley\" ready to
drop, it is one of the most highly anticipated albums
to hit the streets, not only does Marley want to appeal to the Midwest
but he wants his music to hit all hoods whether poor, middle class, or rich
everyone can relate to his music through word, sound and power.
At last Marley Young is ready to unleash his \"raw\"(yet flashy block
boy rhymes) to the world. With his latest singles \"Down In Tha Town\"
and \"Money\" Kansas City is on his back. He is ready to take
on the industry and begin his journey. Marley brings something new and fresh to the game and what it has been missing.

Kansas City spawn killa tornadoes, and killa MC\'s like Marley Young.
He is dubbed the Son of Oz to come from the Midwest to
take the industry over with his electic lyrical flow.
