ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Marlin is but one man, holed up in his tree fort somewhere in the innards of British Columbia, with occasional help from a friend on flute or another on upright bass, creating some of the most soulful, laid back, bass and drum mix master driven songs since dj shadow started dropping bombs..."
-Brad Oates. Heckler Magazine. Issue #64

Re Grid Mode: " An understated classic that weaves slide guitar, and sampled blues vocals around moody rhythms and bass dense tracks. Grid Mode is a seriously well-executed audio endevour of organically-soaked-West Coast electronica..." -Romina Wemdell. Exclaim Magazine

Awesome road trip music
I learned about this CD from a mountain biking friend. We'd listen to it while we shuttled up mountains and rode down them- it's made me so happy and pumped me up. I wanted to buy the cd to be able to feel that way even when I wasn't riding, wicked stuff!
