ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Formed in 2016, Marry The Sea makes music that feels fresh and familiar. With violin, upright bass and drums backing acoustic guitar and moonlit harmonies, the sound feels folksy, but the strong-willed lyrics and modern arrangements create a stranger brew. Songwriters Kat and Rebecca do sing the love songs you crave, but they also sing about tech-addled kids and the better-life yearnings of an ancestor. It's a mix that's meant to stay with you.

For their first EP, two standout singles cut at Cellar Dweller Studios grew into a half dozen tracks that took on a mystical patina from the iconic Dreamland Studios in Woodstock, New York. Listening to this new batch of hooks and themes, you'll be charged by the band's full dynamic range as one song flows into the next.
