His piece “Fantasia de Tres Mundos”, a fusion of classical, jazz , and Afro-Cuban influences, premiered in April 2014 at the South Miami Dade Cultural Arts Center, and has been performed and recorded internationally.
Currently, Martin heads the Jazz Piano department at the University of Miami, while continuing to perform, compose, and record music of all shapes and sizes.
