Album Notes
Martin Lund, one of the most diverse musicians in the universe lives and breathes music in many different colors and cultures. He has played with some of the great blues artists of our time and worked in the studios of LA as a composer, arranger and musician with artists like Mel Torme to Isacc Hayes. His eclectic background has allowed him to move freely through any style of music from classical to rock and from jazz to broadway. He is equally adept at clarinet, saxophone, flute and piano.
Enough about Martin, what this cd is really about is raising money to save this precious place called Turtleback Mountain from development here on Orcas Island, my home where I compose and perform this music that brings out the honest reasons as to why I do what I do.
Each piece in this CD represent a place or feeling that I experience musically about Turtleback Mountain. Every morning I awake and look out my window and it is right in front of me. I am grateful.

Martin can deliver a musical passage with such soul and
sensitivity it leaves you spellbound. If you want to travel
to a different place; just relax, light a candle, fire up some
incense and listen to Martin's beautiful music. He'll take
you on a journey. The only problem is, you may not want to
come back.
