VITRAIL (Glasswork)
This title truly represents the many colours found in sacred music and the variety of styles of the repertoire heard on this CD.
Anyone who has enjoyed the beauty of stain glass windows found in most churches can relate to their inspirational nature, and view them as complex and fragile works of art. These images easily translate into the music selected for this recording. Through their own colourful style, each composer offers a gem of either sacred or profane music that celebrates the grandeur of the soul and the fragility of all beings.
Quote: '' People are like glassworks. They shine when there is sunlight, but when comes darkness, they can only shine if light comes from within.'' Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
