What a great transition
I’m a fan of Page’s songwriting - I didn’t expect this. An eclectic ambient instrumental album. But I love it !
Some of the tracks here are challenging, but that makes it all the more special. It’s an art house release.
Made for reflection and introspection - an album you can go very deep into. Highly recommended.

I wasn’t sure quite what to expect when Page changed direction here! I’m used to enjoying his popular songwriting ... but I was willing to give this album a chance - and I was mesmerized. It’s a bit of a discovery this record - quite unique and transporting. Sometimes it touches on pure ambience, other times touches classical and choral/hymnal - as well as rhythmic electronics. I allowed myself to get lost in it’s inner story - took a chance on it. I’m glad I did. It’s a gem of sonic atmospheres.

Beauty raw and true
I’m always searching for music that intrigues me - that conjures up mystery and transcendence . I find it in abundance here. I was fascinated to check this album out as I was a fan of Page’s break through album ‘In The House Of Stone and Light’. I wasn’t disappointed - even though this is an instrumental album - his trademark atmospheres are all here. And he sings on one song - Aeroplanes. A vision of technology and nature rubbing up against each other. If you want strange, quite beautiful sonic adventures. The Amber Of Memory is for you.

Special record. Grows on you in beauty and meaning.

Very cool
I fell in love with this CD driving. It’s a journey... I’ve followed Page from the days of We Built This Cirty. I knew he was going to make an album like this someday. Film like scores. Magical.

Other Worldly
I really wasn’t sure what to expect from the audio clips - but I took a leap of faith and I’m glad I did. I love the work of Eno and many ambient artists: I heard many connections here. I’m quite new to Martin Page; I bought his ‘House Of Stone and Light’ album in my youth and didn’t until recently realize he was still releasing albums. I hope he releases more instrumental LPs because this one is deep and meaningful on so many levels.

So deeply moving
What a gift. Instrumental music from Martin Page. From beginning to end ... a mystical journey.. music I return to - to inspire the soul. Deeply moving. Particularly Night in St. Cloud. Just gorgeous.
