Album Notes
Martyn is a singer songwriter from Milton Keynes. UK. He is best known for his story telling. He hits the social and human issues head on, mostly through the use of characters and their stories. However, he uses strong melodies to draw the listener in. Martyn's most notable achievements to date were a major recording deal with EMI, a publishing deal with Warner Chappel Music and a European tour supporting American supergroup Chicago. After a long period away from "the strange world of the music biz" Martyn is back "doing it for himself"

Digging up the Dirt
Something you don't hear very often an artist not afraid to write about issues that affect us all. Well crafted songs delivered confidently and with some style. Great melodies that lure you in to some acute observations on the lives of people we all know. The man can write a song and on the evidence of this album he can deliver them as well.
