Album Notes
"In 2003, I visited an intuitive healer who told me the reason I woke out of my sleep every night was to write music. I didn't think this could possibly be true, but soon I was hearing my own words and music loudly and clearly. I’ve spent the last ten years creating and performing the songs I've been hearing. The selections on this CD are some of my favorites, and I hope they speak loudly and clearly to you, too."

Everyday Secrets is Mary's first full length CD. The album includes poetic and introspective songs, a gorgeous instrumental piece, and a jazzy bit of Trouble. Mary's songs range from the particular to the universal - from touching a dragonfly to meditating on our most fundamental human experiences. Her music has something for all generations, from Boomers to teens.

Mary began her career as a classically trained pianist. She became a singer/songwriter and composer, and now performs her original compositions in the San Francisco Bay Area. She wrote orchestral versions of four of her songs for performance with the Oakland East Bay Symphony in February, 2014.

The exceptional clarity and depth of sound on Everyday Secrets is due to the singular engineering of OTR Studios in Belmont, CA.
