Whoopee!

A swell mix of Gatsby era tunes from days gone by with a couple of lesser known gems in for fun. Beautiful instrumentation, sweet, silly and punchy vocals. "I did it for Momsy".

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Combine the sweet, soulful tones of Natalie, the belty pizzazz of Liza, the swingin' ease of Ella, the flair of Ginger, some bluesy Bonnie, a touch of Diana and the warmth and wit of an experienced balladeer and you're describing this multi-faceted jazz& pop vocalist/cabaret entertainer.
Based in Michigan , Mary has toured with the USO to The Orient, Philippines, South Pacific and Asia, as well as across the USA and beyond with various groups or as a featured soloist. A headliner at the Amway Grand Plaza for 12 years led to worldwide exposure and a springboard for her versatile repertoire. She is known for her energetic, engaging and entertaining style while singing, dancing and charming her way into the hearts of many.
Rademacher has opened for or been featured with the likes of Richie Cole, Bob Newhart, Shirley Jones, Taylor Dane, Art Linkletter, Don Shelton, Frankie Valli and the Paul Keller Orchestra.

"Mary is always focused, aware of her audience...a real pro."
Rodney Vaccaro, Emmy award winning Screenwriter, Director

"She has spunk, charm and a voice that stirs my heart. Whether she is belting it out or singing sweet and low, the message is clear: Here's an undeniable talent!"
Edgar Struble, Television Director/Musical Composer, Dick Clark Productions

Awarded Jazz Musician of the Year by The West Michigan Jazz Society and a finalist in the TV show, Star Search, Mary is a professional free lance performer, theatre educator and director and a busy choreographer.

The cover photo on the album is Mary's Mom, Patricia, letting it loose and kicking up her heels on the night of her engagement in 1951 to Mary's Dad, Tom. They were invited to a costume party and obviously, Pat was the life of the party. This was Mary's inspiration for the album. Pat liked to have a good time, and after a couple glasses of wine - she's start exclaiming "Whoopee!". Many of these songs were sung together at family parties around the piano, with all the ladies dancing their patooties off! At the time of this printing, Patricia is still pretty spry at almost 90 yrs old. Mary didn't fall far from the tree - in fact she broke the branches!

Tom, Cherie, Mike and Mary hope you enjoy this album made 'just for the fun of it'.
