Mary Verdi's Bio!
Mary is a singer/songwriter from the Berkshire Mountains, where she lives with her husband and four kids. She has been performing on stages since the age of three, following in the footsteps of her father who was a symphony conductor in Danville, Illinois. Her strong influences in the performance world allowed Mary to create an unforgettably pure sweet sound!

After graduating from Belmont University in Nashville Tennessee, she choreographed Country Road Acts: Reba McEntire, The Forester Sisters, The New Grass Revival, and various young artists signed to music labels.

Before settling in the Berkshires, Mary moved to Austin, Texas for 5 years. She quickly made a name for herself and was selected to perform in
The Austin Folk Festival (a very prestigious position for such a new act!). She and her family decided to move to the Berkshires in 2000.
Mary's recording of 'Ocean For Travel' has allowed her to combine
her passions for God and music.

"Being able to use my God given talent to touch other hearts has been amazing! As a mother, I am forever meeting other women that come up to me to say thank you for writing 'Teach Them Love'! There is no other joy stronger than knowing you have helped another through your art!"
The Ocean For Travel Tour 2004-05 consists of an unforgettable show featuring a full band including The Golden Mountain Chamber Ensemble and The St. Agnes Children's Choir.
She is also available for solo appearances.

Mary has a way with an audience that allows them to feel embraced, appreciated and welcome. She is a natural, on the stage and off. People gravitate toward her because she is so genuine and real. Her heart felt lyrics along with her unforgettable melodies will have you singing along with her for days to come.
Thank you for your interest.
Remember; never let a day go by without a song!
The more the Mary'r!
