Album Notes
Mary White
Singer/Songwriter/Musician(Saxophone,guitar & keyboards/Producer/Engineer
Mary knows how to get the attention of an audience.
Petite, blonde and nice to look at, Mary’s southern affect is immediately warm and welcoming. Once she gets
going, her command of the stage and personal showmanship is impressive. Mary has an arsenal of entertainment
weapons to choose from every time she performs. A musician times three, Mary is fluent on guitar, piano and
saxophone. She is a versatile vocalist who can sing Patsy Cline, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Miranda Lambert and sound
equally convincing. But it’s her energy on stage that is contagious as she leads her band through a highly entertaining
show featuring thoughtful harmonies, foot-stompin’ rhythm and a fresh twist on familiar current and classic jams. Mary's music shines, as a welcome reminder of how much fun down-home country music should be. Through pure persistence and raw talent, Mary has written more than 200 songs and earned a solid reputation and following as one of the Southwest's most entertaining singer/songwriters.

Mary grew up in a musical family and started singing with her mother at festivals and in church. When she arrived in LA from her hometown Longview, Texas, she began performing at local clubs, festivals and coffeehouses. Her music itself is a smooth combination of intelligent songwriting and depth-digging vocal tones. The result is wide-open musical instinct and a talent that speaks for itself. Mary continues to create her own musical style. On stage, she's pure energy, and sings with a smile in her voice.

Mary White not only provides great music for fans in the Southwest, but was selected by the United States Armed Forces MWR to entertain our US Military in South Korea and Guantanamo Bay.

Mary is currently living in Los Angeles, writing and performing locally. She is the owner of a successful recording studio, QP Sound, producing and engineering numerous artists and CDs. She is writing great songs and looking for a publishing, recording opportunity. If you enjoy great music and songs from the heart, get her CD or catch her live, you'll be glad you did.

Mary White Change of Pace
Mary White's music has the potential to be at the top of the country charts. My question is why am I not hearing her music on my local radio stations? The renditions she does on this album are great, her sax playing is soulful on "Wish" however my favorites are her orginal songs "Foolish Pride", "Change of Pace" and "Not Ready for Love." Please let me know when her next CD comes out. I would also like to know if we can request her music on our local radio stations?

You Gotta Hear It!
Mary White’s voice is pure and natural. “Face the Facts” is fun and most certainly will put a smile on your face! I can hardly wait to see the HBO movie “The Gristle,” to be aired the 1st of November, just to hear her sing “Take Me Back to Oklahoma.”

Mary did ‘ole Hank proud in her rendition of “Hey Good Lookin’.” “Foolish Pride” hangs right up there with other present-day Top 100 Country Hits. If given the opportunity and proper attention, “Lonesome Rider” and “Love of My Life” both are capable of riding straight to the No. 1 position on the county music charts.

Every song on this CD touches the heart in a unique way (it did mine) and the majority of these songs are HITS that are yet to be discovered! So WORLD … watch out!
