Album Notes
"New Romance and Doin' All Right" solo piano is Murl's best-selling CD for good reasons. As well as Murl's legendary prowess on the accordion he is also a fine pianist, in demand for solo performances, recording sessions and as leader and sideman in groups. "New Romance and Doin' All Right" is Murl's second CD and is a beautiful example of his straightforward, infectious style on the piano. Murl includes many of his favorite standards by Gershwin, Cole Porter, Rodgers and Hart, Jerome Kern and the Beatles. This is familiar, relaxing music excellent for party background or a romantic dinner. Young and old alike love this recording.
