ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Love, like light and sound, bends and comes in waves. It does not come or go in a straight line. "The Line of Love", the EP, is a small collection of original songs that commonly explore the nature of giving and receiving love, both for others and for yourself. It's a journey into the stages and the saga of self-searching, amidst heartache, love-loss, doubt & determination and the adventure along the road to recovery. It's about learning to look back less and look forward more. It's about finding your center- your balance- and discovering your own voice and crying out into the suddenly-silent universe. It's about facing your fears and drying your tears. It's about discovering that you're still here!

Such was the case for me as I began writing the songs from this EP, amidst a very sad and difficult time in my life. My music became my awakening, my power and my will to continue forward. My music was my self-discovery and my re-birth. These songs are merely a few in what has come and what is to come from me yet. Stay Tuned!

Home-Made--
Having virtually no experience with digital music recording software, I also began a new journey into self-producing and engineering with most of the songs of this EP, with the exception of the title track, which was engineered by Ethan Carlson. I owe a great deal of thanks to Ethan, because it is also he who taught me the basics of ProTools, and he continually and humbly shared his time and equipment with me while I stumbled through recording and mixing the rest of this EP. It is also because of he and Claire Courchene, that I found renewed sense of motivation to get into the studio & just get the damn thing done! It's great to work with such professionals and I look forward to continuing to work with their company, Stereographic Entertainment, in the future.
