ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The band's featured musician, trumpeter Matt Kiernan, effortlessly glides from the rapid riffs of traditional jazz to the soaring smooth melodies of smooth jazz. Kiernan is no newcomer to the music scence. He has studied, trained, paid his dues and established himself as a potent musician with over 20 years of professional experience.

Keyboardist Ceylon Wise has not been at it as long as Kiernan, but he's catching up quickly not only as a performer, but also as a composer. His writing style has great range varying from passionate ballad melodies to riffs so funky they would make a skunk turn up his nose.

Bassist Lamonte David is a slapping, popping, six string bass machine. He is a true well rounded musician fluent several instruments including bass, piano, organ, and drums. Every instrument Lamonte touches turn to gold.

Drummer Greg Owens is the youngest member of the band. What he lacks in age, Owens makes up in sheer skill and talent. Greg lives in "the pocket" and always knows exactly when to mix it up and shine. When Owens is on the throne, every strike of the drum enhances the song.
