The highly anticipated new album from one of the most in-demand drummers in the NYC scene and beyond!

Says Zottarelli: "This album and the music in it have to do with those moments in life when a person feels completely overwhelmed with everything that is going on. The idea of the title, Upside Down Looking Up, came to me one day while thinking about how when life feels crazy and we believe it’s “upside down,” if we “look up” searching for a solution, we are actually looking down. So, in order to figure out a way to navigate through the craziness, find those peaceful moments of clarity, reflect and engage in new (and healthier) cycles, prioritize what is important, and take proper action, we have to change our overall perspective of life. Patience, calm, faith, strength, drive, serenity, intelligence, self-awareness, self-respect, and love are all words that come to mind when I think about this process of shifting one’s perspective. This recording is way more personal than I would like to admit. Having experienced, firsthand, this “Upside Down Looking Up” situation throughout the last few years while composing and producing the material for this album (as a touring and performing musician, as a new dad, and while living through some family and personal issues), I feel that the message “inside” the music is now very clear to me. I hope that this music can successfully communicate with you as well, and perhaps inspire you to reevaluate any areas of your life, which may need it. May newer, better and healthier life cycles begin! "
