Album Notes
Max Allen is a 17 year-old singer/songwriter, guitar prodigy who has made quite a name for himself in the Indianapolis, Indiana market. He is now reaching out to the rest of the world through the Internet.

Max has scored several fine performance opportunities both acoustically and with the support of his Jam Band. His guitar style and technique comes from several years of instruction in multiple genres of music, such as blues, jazz, rock and classical. Max has received formal training from some of the best artists in central Indiana since he was 8 years old.

Max's music has been heavily influenced by some of the all time great artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Albert King, Buddy Guy, Jimi Hendrix and Wes Montgomery. He also has been influenced by some of todays more recent successes such as Trey Anastasio, Charlie Hunter, Galactic, Phish, Les Claypool and others.

Max plays guitar and sings with great feeling, energy and proficiency FAR advanced for his age.

The "NO WAY" CD was recorded when Max was only 16-years old. The "Mr. Big Man" CD was recorded when Max was 17-years old. At this rate he will have a half-dozen albums released before he turns 21!
