Album Notes
The sun was shining brilliantly on the morning of 9/11/2001. Maxi awoke and began to prepare for his daily subway journey to his worksite which was located on the 86th Floor of Building Two of the World Trade Center. Miraculously he fell into a deep sleep as he sat on the sofa. When he arrived at the World Trade Center a burning plane was sticking out of the side of Building Two in the area where his office was located. He was saved by a nap. But that's not the end of the story. Maxi stood around, like so many others, and gazed in amazement at the scene of death and destruction unfolding before him. Then came a mighty roar and one of the twin towers started to fall. Covered in dust and debris, Maxi ran for his life. On that tragic day, 39 of Maxi's friends and colleagues (one died lated of a heart attack) made the ultimate sacrifice with their lives. This project is not only a dedication to the memory of those who died but also a celebration and a testomony of the goodness and saving grace of God.
