Album Notes
The Incredible EP is AD's eighth album released officially to date. Four previous albums released under the Freedom Movement, and three albums released with partner, and lyricist, Linguistory under the Wandering Monks. This album arguably takes a new direction than previous releases, but the quality and foundation remain the same. This album is completely radio friendly and some would say a bit less socio/political than some of AD's previous content. The production content feels much more like an arrangement composed by a live band. The lyricism is on point, and still holds a primary draw towards avid listeners of conscious and underground hip hop. As to be expected, the diversity in styles and sounds continues to make AD's music stand out from both commercial rap, as well as stereotypical expectations of traditional rap heavy hip hop. Digital Underground stated it best .. is the old school, new school, RnB or hip hop .. and the answer is Yes .. and so much more.
