ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

M.A.G. ENT

The Blame was produced by David Ivroy, written by McClinton, David Ivory, Joe Lam, Chino Marin, along with Robin Diaz, Phoenix Eden, Guitar and Backing Vocals Marcelo Buby.

After the 2015 release of Crumble and touring with the likes of Saving Abel, Framing Hanley, Adelitas way, Red, and Art of Dying. The band jumped right back into the studio with Grammy nominated producer/engineer David Ivroy that has worked with The Roots, Hailstorm, Patti LaBelle, and many others. Michael McClinton knew that he wanted to do this as soon as he got into the studio with David and started working on the track. Michael and David knew they needed the right musicians in place for this recording. So, Michael called long time friend, Robin Diaz, who's worked with Courtney Love, Daughtry and many others. Recording started but there was something missing so David called in Phoenix Eden from the band Beyond Eden, but still something wasn't right. So Michael called singer songwriter Chino Marin to help rewrite the first verse. Along with Marcelo Buby on Guitar and backing vocals, Pat Rah on Piano and Kjell Benner on bass. It was a rap, all that was left was to have David Ivory mix and Ted Jensen to master the track.
