Album Notes
The Tyler McCumber Band is a five-piece band consisting of seasoned musicians from all over the south Texas region. The lead singer and songwriter, Tyler, has been writing and performing for several years at clubs, festivals, private parties, and local functions. The Tyler McCumber Band are a high-energy act that loves connecting with the audience. With influences ranging from Willie Nelson and Ray Wylie Hubbard, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Thinn Lizzy, Cross Canadian Ragweed and Mike McClure, and 80’s music too! A delightful combo of Country, Rock, and Red Dirt Music! Their covers will entertain you, and their originals will have you begging for more! Their new CD “Catch Me” was recorded at the Dirtybird recording studio in Norman, Oklahoma. It was produced by Mike McClure, engineered by Travis Linville, and mixed and mastered by Joe Hardy at Casa De Joe, Houston, Tex. It is set to release in mid November of 2006, and is sure to be received well, as it went to #3 on the Roots Music Report’s charts (from internet radio, XM satellite radio, and terrestrial radio stations), in three weeks strictly by word of mouth from a few demos given out! They word that these guys are “IT” is quickly spreading. Tyler McCumber Band is happy to play any size venue, anywhere fans request, and is looking forward to bringing their own style of Texas/Red Dirt Music for your listening and dancing pleasure! Red Dirt…You Just Can’t Wash It Off!!!

Rockin' Texas Country!
This is one of the best bands that I've heard in a while. Just like that of Cody Gill Band, The Orbans, Randy Rogers, Eli Young and all the others this is definitely a rising star in the Lone Star State! Great Job guys! Keep at it, and VISIT SAN ANTONIO SOON!

catch me
Wow, this is really very good music. What a voice!! Listning with headphones I hear all the details, great clear production! This is another pearl in my collection. But one thing, I'm missing the innerline notes. This CD is made in 2006, so I think Tyler Mccumber is already writing his second one. Good luck, I can hardly wait! Heiko Wester, Netherlands.
