Album Notes
McFEENIN is a local Chicago based hard rock band founded by Timothy Krzyston (guitars) and his brother-in-law Kevin King (drums) in the fall of 2006. The following year they recruited Kevin’s brothers Nick (bass) and Chris King (guitars). Quickly the band pulled together a library of cover songs, wrote a handful of originals and within 6 months they were out captivating audiences with their high energy live shows. The band quickly became a Chicago Park District and block party favorite, as well as playing a number of local clubs and bars, most notably Chicago’s Abbey Pub, Nite Cap Lounge and Doc Ryan’s.

In the summer of 2009 the band began recording their self-titled LP, but then life happened. The first of 4 new additions to the McFEENIN family was born that fall prompting the first of many delays in the recording process. Even though things were moving at a snail's pace the band refused to quit and the boys played shows whenever time allowed. Contributing to further delay in 2012 was Nick's relocation to L.A. to pursue a career as a film director. While recording was put on hold again, Timothy, Kevin and Chris regrouped as a three piece and continued on playing live shows. In 2014 the band was finally able to get back in the studio and wrap up the recording process. Most of 2015 was spent in post- production with the band performing all editing, mixing, producing, mastering and CD design themselves. Finally the band's never say die attitude prevailed and in December of 2015 they released their self-titled LP, McFEENIN.
