Album Notes
This project has been in the works for several years. It began as some of us stood outside on a break at work. The beautiful day was screaming at us, the sunlight was begging us to stay outside, but we had to go back inside and work. It was just such a waste of a great day. I started thinking about how many people just like us were wasting their days away, working at jobs that never seemed to get them anywhere and trading away all the experiences that the day offered for almost nothing. When people live under systems that do not allow them to flourish, such as communism, they eventually quit. That's what happens. I decided that what we needed was a pied piper of sorts, someone to encourage everyone to follow him down to the river with a song. Leave these crummy jobs for someone else to do, make a life that means something, that's worth living. That's what this album is about.
