ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Forty Four
A Tribute To Howlin’ Wolf

Motor City Josh shows respect and appreciation by honoring the work of the late great blues legend and member of the
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Howlin’ Wolf.
Special guest harmonica wizard Jason Ricci plays superbly.
The 13 tracks on the collection are some of the greatest
blues songs of all time.....
This is Motor City Josh’s 10th CD release.
This recording validates the connection between early 60’s
Chicago Blues and 70’s Blues based Rock-n-Roll like Led Zeppelin,Foghat and the Allman Brothers.

Straight Up, A MUST HAVE CD for all blues lovers!

Motor City Josh (a festival favorite) will be on tour in 2009
performing this CD in its entirety as a tribute show, along with the
best of his original Blues Rock and Good American Music from
his other 9 CDs.
