Trip Lea

The Best New Road Trip CD in a Decade
Truly something for everyone - from modern day Red Sovine to songs that young teens load onto their iThings. A must have for the drive to work or the beach (as well around the docks after a long day of bill-fishing).

An extremely enjoyable album.
Wow! I'm a bluegrass lover who never liked country much, but this album threatens that status. 'Locomotive' is my new favorite sing-while-I'm-driving song. In general, the songs are so personal that I almost feel like I'm intruding. Great lyrics, delivered with feeling.

"Toe-tappin", "dippin & swayin" sing-a-long!
From Mountain Music to Lay Me Down, I was captivated by the rhythym, the beat, the lyrics, and the over all toe tappin fun. Thorpe McKenzie may be new to the scene but his music reflects years of artistry and a real understanding of his southern roots!

An artist who provides a little bit of everything
I am a 32 year old and was raised during the 80's. Fortunately there were musicians from the 60's that stayed around so I got quite a selection of music from Garth to Jerry, and Seger to REM. That is what I enjoy about this CD- that each song, whether it is Roadkill Stew which the southerners will appreciate to Monkey Train, they each have a different style which in this day is quite unusual.

Original toe-tapping music that makes you feel good
I can see some of the songs like Mountain Music being a big hit if a "known" musician sang it.This artist has a lot of talent and the CD is filled with diverse music.Songs are very original and entertaining.
