What people are saying about the "Buddy Holly" album;

The greatest work you have ever done, it kills me... holy cow... beautifully rendered... perfectly executed... I think it's absolutely terrific and moving as hell... I love it... to say the  least... it's deserving of soooooo much attention... you have inspired me

Have to say it is stunning: the guitar work, the rich sounds, the swirl and layer of ideas, the book, the production concepts and the integrity of performance have all blown me back. I feel it is a quantum leap, a deep breath and exhale of you into the world. Thank you.

Brilliant! The whole record has a wonderful vibe to it, especially Buddy Holly. Your lyrics are amazing

I'm loving your Buddy Holly CD. It's a love letter to New York

Love the production on this record, your performances, the sequencing... love the backups and drummer... your songs and singing just slay me.

Buddy Holly is fantastic!!!
The songs, the lyrics, your presence is outstanding.

Buddy Holly, blew me away. The whole CD is a masterpiece. Like one short film after another
which all add up to one longer film... the cumulative effect is staggering. I love the audacity of New York, New York, at 12 minutes! Are you with me so far? Yeah? Good!...the trilogy on Chet Baker is a total heartbreaker.

Beautiful job. I was blown away! Something quite different and exciting. Lyrics at McNally's best. Inhabiting the characters. Cinematic. Noire. A little taste of Velvet Underground on the NY stuff and a lot of different flavors here. I've listened to it 3 times so far. Hasn't gotten old yet. Maybe never will.  "Somewhere West" is a heartbreaker and "Everything Comes Easy..." is a classic - hey I don't know - they ALL are.
The recording, arrangements and mixes are impeccable.
